Internal coating for sewage water

Izostal S.A. offers internal flow coating for transportation of sewage water. Coating consists of cured two component polyurethane paint of thickness minimum 3000 µm.

Coating process is divided into the following stages:

     •    Abresive blast cleaningof the steel pipe surface to Sa 2 ½ according to PN-EN ISO 8501-1
     •    Application of paint coating through airless spray process
     •    Conditioning of coated pipes in heated chamber in order to obtain touch dry coating

Advantages of the internal coating of carrier pipes include the following:

     •    appreciable improvement of anticorrosion protection during storage and assembly
     •    excellent hardness and cracking resistance
     •    protection against influence of toxic substances transported by pipeline
