Izostal S.A. is an esteemed on the international market manufacturer of the highest quality external and internal anti-corrosion coatings for steel pipes. The company has got the most advanced anti-corrosion coating technology for steel pipes, has at its disposal the biggest warehousing area in Poland for storing it and efficient logistics system.

Innovative solutions that are being used by Izostal S.A. in a technological process are the result of a consequent office politics. From the very beginning the company placed particular emphasis on a quality of products and on a standard of provided services. For that reason, in 1996 the Ensuring Quality System was implemented and certified according to standards of ISO 9002:1994. In 2011 we implemented and certified Environment Management System according to requirements of ISO 14001:2004, and in 2012 we implemented Occupational Safety and Health Management System in compliance with PN-N 18001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

In subsequent years our Company adjusted its operations to meet current versions of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, PN-N 18001 and OHSAS 18001 that was acknowledged by awarded certificates for Integrated Management System  – quality, environment and occupational safety and health.

In 2017, the application of the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, PN-N 18001:2004/OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 50001:2011 standards at Izostal S.A. was confirmed with an Integrated Management System certificate.

In July 2020 the Integrated Management System was subject to a re-certification audit of the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2015, Environment according to ISO 14001:2015 and Energy according to ISO 50001:2018 and a certification audit of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System according to ISO 45001:2018.

In June 2023 the Integrated Management System - quality, environment, health and safety, and energy - underwent a re-certification audit.

Raw materials used for the production of anti-corrosion pipe insulation are obtained from companies that apply the requirements of the Quality Management System. At the same time, suppliers applying the requirements of the Environmental Management System and occupational health and safety are preferred. Suppliers are also asked about the energy result or the implementation of the ISO 50001 standard.

In 2004 our Company's laboratory received 1st degree award from Central Laboratory of Technical Inspection, which was renewed every three years. In 2013, according to valid regulations, the Office of Technical Inspection issued for Research and Development Center of Steel Products and Technologies Izostal S.A. Approval Certificate for Testing Laboratory and Approval Certificate for OTI (UDT) Subcontractor, which confirmed meeting requirements of Section 5 of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005. Another Approval Certificate for Testing Laboratory was issued by the Office of Technical Inspection for Research and Development Center of Steel Products and Technologies Izostal S.A. in 2016 and it acknowledged its compliance with the entire norm PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

In 2020, the Company's laboratory applied to the Office of Technical Inspection to renew its laboratory acknowledgement certificate.

The laboratory meets the requirements of the Technical Conditions of the Office of Technical Inspection WUDT-LAB 1/2019, which take into account the standard of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018.
